Ryja integrates his skills as a depth hypnosis practitioner with all he has learned through over a decade of experience as a clinical psychologist, over 2 years of full-time residential training at a Zen monastery, and certification as a Nature and Forest Therapy Guide (anft.earth). Ryja brings true compassion and understanding to his work from his own healing path, lived experience as a transgender man, and countless hours listening to the teachings of the more-than-human world. Ryja finds Depth Hypnosis to be particularly potent medicine in helping clients reclaim a sense of power, love for themselves, and inner resources to meet whatever arises in their life paths. Clients often note how they feel safe with Ryja, and he is skilled in working with clients on a range of sensitive and vulnerable topics, such as spiritual and existential crisis, chronic and terminal illness, gender and sexual identity exploration and transition, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, generally feeling lost or disconnected, and patterns of shame and self-judgment.
