Maridelie Diaz Villanueva, Psy.D., is a Licensed Psychologist and a Depth Hypnosis Practitioner. She holds a doctorate degree in clinical psychology and a concentration in child and family psychology. She has been working with people in the field of mental health since 2007. Although she coursed most of her studies in Florida, she was born and raised in Puerto Rico and is fully bilingual in Spanish and English.
Maridelie holds a safe and compassionate space focused on assisting your ability to access inner guidance and wisdom. Through this work, clients can gain deep insights about the sources of imbalance in their lives, move through difficult emotions, release aspects that no longer serve them, and bring integration to aspects of the self that may need to restore peace. She teaches mindfulness meditation, and also uses breathwork and Unified Therapy techniques, a trauma-informed approach developed by Dr. Paul Canali, to help release trauma stored in the body and regulate the autonomic nervous system. She enjoys facilitating conscious dance and meditative movement from time to time as a way towards embodying the rhythms of life. Maridelie also has experience supporting plant medicine preparation and integration work.
